CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Paul Anderson

For his exemplary leadership in naturopathic and integrative medical education, Dr. Paul Anderson was inducted into the Orthomolecular Medicine Hall of Fame on May 18, 2024, during the Conference held in collaboration with Advanced Applications in Medical Practice, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Paul Anderson was born in Portland, Oregon. He completed medical school at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine and went on to work in private practice, founding Advanced Medical Therapies in 1997. In 2005, Paul moved the clinic from Oregon to Washington, where he focused on integrative cancer care and chronic diseases.

As a physician-scientist, Dr. Anderson’s interest in biochemistry, immunology, genomics, and metabolic repair position him at the leading edge of medical expertise for many disease processes. His longtime work on the development and standardization of pharmacologically significant intravenous nutrient therapies bridges naturopathic and conventional medicine. Dr. Anderson was head of the interventional arm of a US-NIH funded human research trial using IV vitamin C and other therapies in cancer patients, and has collaborated with many notable physicians, researchers and professors over the past 25 years.

Dr. Anderson has trained and influenced innumerable health care professionals through his Consult Dr. A website, ongoing work with Advanced Applications in Medical Practice (AAMP), International IV Nutritional Therapy for Physicians, Bastyr University School of Naturopathc Medicine, and other academic institutions. He has presented at the Orthomolecular Medicine Today Conference in 2019 (Vancouver, Canada), 2023 (Sao Paulo, Brazil), and in 2024 – held in collaboration with AAMP (Arizona, USA).

He has authored numerous scientific articles, monographs, and books including co-author of Outside the Box Cancer Therapies (Hay House, 2019), Cancer… The Journey from Diagnosis to Empowerment (Lioncrest Publishing, 2020), and A Scientific Reference for Intravenous Nutrient Therapy (IIVNTP, 2021).
