Japanese Society for Orthomolecular Medicine

The Japanese Society for Orthomolecular Medicine (JSOM) was formalized in 2002, and had been providing information on orthomolecular treatments mainly for psychiatric diseases. In 2017, the JSOM was reestablished as an official institute in order to further advance orthomolecular medicine in Japan, and to strengthen the network of professionals in orthomolecular medicine for the Annual International Orthomolecular Medicine Today Conference in 2018 in Tokyo.

The main objectives of the Japanese Society for Orthomolecular Medicine are:

1) To enlighten and educate healthcare professionals in Japan with orthomolecular medicine;
2) To provide accurate information for the public and industries in order to raise awareness and develop the needs for orthomolecular medicine;
