52nd Annual International Orthomolecular Medicine Today Conference

The 52nd Annual International Orthomolecular Medicine Today Conference was held in conjunction with the 34th Congresso Internacional de Práctica Ortomolecular – hosted by the Associação Médica Brasileira de Prática Ortomolecular (AMBO)
The three-day event, held at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in São Paulo, Brazil, featured more than 60 speakers, 70 exhibitors, and 2500 international delegates from countries including: Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay, and the USA.
Day one of the program was conducted in English, with the Dr. Rogers Prize lecture on ‘Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Diet’ delivered by Dr. John Gannage (Canada), who also presented on the topic of Mast Cell Instability. Dr. Paul Anderson (USA) provided 2 presentations on practical applications in Integrative Oncology. Days 2 and 3 of the congress featured sessions in Portuguese and Spanish.
Dr. Efrain Olszewer, President of AMBO, was inducted into the the Orthomolecular Medicine Hall of Fame on June 1, for his exemplary leadership in the establishment of Orthomolecular societies and educational initiatives in South America, Central America, and Europe.
Dr. Ilyes Baghli (Algeria) was named as the new ISOM President in a ceremony on June 1, taking over from Dr. Atsuo Yanagisawa (Japan) after 11 years of service. Both Dr. Baghli and Dr. Yanagisawa provided presentations on the opening day of the congress.
