The Annual International Orthomolecular Medicine Today Conference is a continuing education event for medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nutritionists, and other health care professionals. The Conference is presented by the International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine, which brings together orthomolecular associations established in more than 20 countries around the world. Orthomolecular Medicine Today provides a forum for leading clinicians and researchers to present current advances in the use of non-patentable molecules for the treatment and prevention of disease. The Conference features the annual Dr Abram Hoffer Memorial lecture, the Dr Rogers Prize Lecture, the Evan Shute Memorial Lecture, and the Orthomolecular Medicine Hall of Fame.

In 1972, the Canadian Schizophrenia Foundation (CSF) held its first annual meeting, intended primarily for the public. In 1987, recognizing the need to educate health care professionals in the therapeutic use of nutrients, the focus of the meeting changed and it was renamed to ‘Nutritional Medicine Today’. The current title ‘Orthomolecular Medicine Today’, was introduced in 2006. In 2018, the Japanese Society for Orthomolecular Medicine hosted the Conference in Tokyo, Japan, which is the first time Orthomolecular Medicine Today has been presented outside of Canada.
